It is run by a motherly {{p|Kangaskhan}} (affectionately called Aunt Kangaskhan) which allows the player to store items. The space available in Kangaskhan Storage increases as the player proceeds through the game in [[Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness|Explorers of Time, Darkness]], and [[Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky|Sky]], while in [[Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team|Red and Blue Rescue Team]] and [[Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX|its remake]], the player can store infinite in the beginning. Rewards which the player does not have space for in their bag are also deposited in Kangaskhan Storage.
