Harrison (EP216): Difference between revisions

Harrison was {{an|Misty}}'s first opponent in the quarterfinal rounds of the [[Whirl Cup]]. His appearance suggested that he enjoyed [[fishing]] and {{type|Water}} Pokémon, as he was wearing a fisherman's hat and had a Hawaiian shirt on.

 

He was very confident that he and his {{p|Qwilfish}} would defeat Misty. However, the young [[Gym Leader]] and her {{TP|Misty|Corsola}} proved him wrong. At one point, Misty used her Pokémon's {{m|Spike Cannon}} to remove itself from Qwilfish's spikes. Misty then moved on to her second battle against {{Ash}}, and Harrison was eliminated from the competition.

|desc=Harrison's {{p|Qwilfish}} first appeared in a battle against {{an|Misty}} and her {{TP|Misty|Corsola}} in the first round of the [[Whirl Cup]]. Harrison ordered Qwilfish to use Water Gun which was deflected by Corsola's {{m|Mirror Coat}}. Seeing that this tactic wasn't going to work, Harrison told it to start swallowing water, preparing for a volley of spikes. Misty then told Corsola to use {{m|Spike Cannon}} just as Qwilfish used Pin Missile and the attacks collided hurting Corsola. Qwilfish was not hurt by it, however, as it had quickly dived underwater. It then used Take Down which hit. Worried that Corsola might faint, Misty ordered it to dive underwater and use {{m|Recover}}. However, Qwilfish had already started up another Take Down. By the time Corsola recovered, Qwilfish already zeroed in. Corsola and Qwilfish dove down and Qwilfish reappeared, but so did Corsola, below Qwilfish. Qwilfish was stuck on Corsola's head and couldn't do much about this so it just struggled around. Misty finally got an idea and told Corsola to use Spike Cannon. Corsola fired the Spike Cannon, sending Qwilfish sky-high and fainting it.
