He is an announcer who hosts various {{cat|Pokémon competitions}} throughout the [[Unova]] [[region]] and the [[Decolore Islands]]. He also goes by the nickname "The Scoop".

Freddy first appeared from ''[[BW039|Reunion Battles In Nimbasa!]]'' to ''[[BW042|Club Battle Finale: A Hero's Outcome!]]'' as the co-announcer for the [[Club Battle]] alongside the [[Don George]] of [[Nimbasa Town]].  

Freddy reappeared from ''[[BW070|The Clubsplosion Begins!]]'' to ''[[BW073|Commanding the Clubsplosion Crown!]]'' as the co-announcer for the [[Clubsplosion]] alongside the Don George of [[Ambiga Town]].

He appeared again from ''[[BW090|Jostling for the Junior Cup!]]'' to ''[[BW093|Goodbye, Junior Cup - Hello Adventure!]]'', where he was the co-host of the [[Pokémon World Tournament Junior Cup]], this time alongside [[Alder]].
