Jack Pollockson: Difference between revisions

Pollockson is a world-renowned abstract [[Artist (Trainer class)|artist]] who resides in the [[Johto]] town of [[Whitestone]]. He owns three {{p|Smeargle}}, which are the ones that actually paint his art. He had his Smeargle paint a wall in Whitestone. However, the town's residents disagreed with his views on what art is and claimed that he was vandalizing the town. In rebuttal, Pollockson claimed that the Smeargle were just expressing themselves, but he was disappointed with their latest creations.

He is a private man, who has a distaste for journalism's take on art as he believes that for art to be truly experienced it must be seen in person. However, he invited {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} to his studio and mansion to show them some of his latest pieces. In his old age he feels that he has lost his inspiration. He revealed to the group that he decided to become an artist 50 years ago after seeing a sunrise turn the landscape into thousands of colors. After saving his Smeargle from {{TRT}} he witnesses an equally amazing sunrise, like the one seen 50 years before and decides to paint it. His Pokémon capture the various hues on another Whitestone building, with the final result amazing the previously disgruntled locals. While rain soon washes away the piece, Jack is not disappointed as he has regained his confidence and artist inspiration.
