Mary (AG063): Difference between revisions

Mary provided {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} with some water before she explained to them that the villagers were in the midst of a crippling drought. A meteorite fell near the source of their water, with a {{p|Solrock}} subsequently sighted in the forest at the time of the rains mysteriously stopping and their springs drying. Mary explained that her {{TP|Mary|grandmother}} and many of the villagers are convinced that the Solrock is responsible for the drought. When [[May's Skitty]] released itself from its [[Poké Ball]] and ran into a [[cave]], Mary told {{an|May}} she knew the cave like the back of her hand, and went on to discover {{TRT}}'s pipe syphoning the village's spring water.  

Mary was skeptical of the villager's superstitions and sought a rational explanation to explain the drought. She watched on in frustration as her grandmother and the other villager's performed a rain dance. Her village's water returned after the steam generated, from Brock's Pokémon using their {{m|Water Gun}}s to put out the Solrock as it ignited into flames, led to a build-up of clouds and eventually a miraculous downpour of rain. Mary was relieved to have the spring water flowing again but was shocked when the village's Guardian was changed to honor Solrock.
