Lugia says that it needs to be beaten. | Lugia suddenly appears and says that it needs to be beaten. Slowking says that Lugia has chosen to battle Gold and Chris and that they must win if they want to go. Their attacks do not seem to be able to defeat Lugia. Lugia is even able to restore itself much to Chris' dismay. Chris also discovers that lava is beneath them. Lugia compliments their observation and gives them the option to be saved and remain on the island. They refuse, not wanting to let Ampharos die. Lugia then crushes the island. Gold then tells Remoraid and Croconaw to use Water Gun on their feet. They are surprised that Lugia did not perish within the lava. Lugia explains that the Lugia was only an "illusion". They ask Lugia to bring them to Cianwood City. They ride the illusionary Lugia as Lugia, Slowking, and Kamex along with some Sunflora wave. Chris wonders if they will ever return to the Whirl Islands and Gold wants a rematch with Lugia in the future. | ||
