Pikachu (Wizards Promo 4): Difference between revisions

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was released as part of a special expansion sheet available at the 7th Next Generation World Hobby Fair held in December 1997. The English version of the card was one of four possible {{TCG|Wizards Black Star Promos}} that one could receive by buying a ticket to the theatrical release of ''[[M01|Mewtwo Strikes Back]]''. This print has a gold foil stamp in the top right corner that reads "Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie". An unknown amount of these prints has the gold foil stamp on the opposite corner. This card was reprinted in the Red Deck of the Japanese {{TCG|Quick Starter Gift Set}} and also on Glossy card stock with a "French" translation in Gotta magazine during July of 2000. Gotta magazine is a Japanese magazine known for its magic card inserts and only released 2 known glossy pokemon cards. Those card were the french pikachu (glossy) and an english mew (glossy).
