Animal Crossing City later decided to merge with the aforementioned Animal Crossing Wiki to form the wiki that exists today. On December 31, 2010, the wiki changed its name to Nookipedia, a portmanteau of their mascot {{np|Tom Nook}} (a main character in the game) and encyclopedia.
