My suggestion is a sister or daughter, but to remove speculation it's simpler to point out in trivia something along the lines of 'Although Aster is almost always beside her, Zinnia sometimes speaks about having lost Aster, suggesting that she may have named the Whismur after someone close to her who died prior to the events of the Game.' So it's based more factually than theoretically. :I agree on making a separate page or at least a subsection for the original Aster and all info on her, especially since she has also been mentioned in the Adventures manga (complete with a vague picture).
