::::They use ''Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire'' as only a prefix (for lack of a better word) for all the seasons based on the respective series. The season titles themselves [http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/attachments/f228/97751d1428294424-season-18-given-subtitle-itunes-poka-mon-series-xy-kalos-quest-lfonxss.png retain their original names]. I guess they wanted to go for a consistent naming convention that matches with the respective generation's main series games, instead of the stand-alone original names, hence the addition of ''Pokémon the Series'' in the names. Though, that is just my assumption on the subject. And it is not just the case with iTunes, but Beyond has also been releasing the DVD sets under the new names. So far, we have only seen AG and DP getting "new" names. Anyway, the source is good enough for this season's title. The name change for the previous seasons will most likely be acknowledged in their respective trivia sections (yet to be finalized). :::::The subtitle of "Pokémon the Series" is the dub name of the series; previously, these were only named in the Japanese name, but the English distributors have gone back and started retroactively naming them. So far, only ''Pokémon the Series: Ruby & Sapphire'' (known as the ''Advanced Generation'' series in Japanese) and ''Pokémon the Series: Black & White'' (known as the ''Best Wishes!'' series in Japanese) have received this treatment; I'm not sure why Adyniz believes DP also got named, but I haven't seen it. So far, Beyond has only released a single non-XY DVD set with "Pokémon the Series", that being [http://www.beyondhe.com.au/pokemon-ruby-sapphire-region-collector-s-edition.html the RS one]. BW was only named recently (to my knowledge), and is [https://twitter.com/netflix/status/587311889731821568 used on Netflix] (I don't have a Netflix account, so I can't check how they've set it up).
:::::What you're seeing on iTunes in that screenshot for RS episodes is the series name then the season name, separated by a "dash" (it's actually a hyphen, but being used as a dash). --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 15:58, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
