I originally wasn't going to use Beat Up because of this, but I kept it on my Weavile because it's a devastating combo with Razor Fang. Anyway, this is simply not true. When I use Beat Up on Shauntal's Jellicent with my Lv80+ Weavile, it takes about 3-4 hits to KO it with Beat Up, giving each hit a chance to trigger Cursed Body. If I soft reset the game and try it again, with the same Pokemon lineup in my party, but I Swords Dance first, it KOs the Jellicent in 1-2 hits. I even noticed, after using Swords Dance, it doubles the damage on her Cofagrigus and cuts the number of hits needed to KO it in half, as opposed to just opening up with Beat Up.
