That {{template|game4}} was actually designed for that specific purpose of linking it that way and it actually adds ''more'' bytes to the page to hard link it instead of that template. If you want to revert it, I won't argue against a staff member, but I just don't consider a "solution" that creates a redirect to be a good solution, fewer bytes or not...
