Sinnoh Route 226: Difference between revisions

* It is possible to become permanently trapped on [[Meister]]'s island. This can only occur if the player has no [[fishing]] rods and only a {{p|Finneon}} that knows {{m|Surf}} in their party (and possibly other Pokémon, as long as they cannot learn Surf or {{m|Fly}} and do not know {{m|Teleport}}). By trading that Finneon for Meister's {{p|Magikarp}}, the player will no longer have a Pokémon that can Surf, and will be trapped. With no fishing rods, there is no way to enter a battle and lose in order to return to a [[Pokémon Center]]. The player must also have insufficient [[Rare Candy|Rare Candies]] to evolve any party Pokémon into Pokémon that can learn Surf or Fly (including Magikarp into {{p|Gyarados}}) or to have a party Pokémon learn Teleport, or any Pokémon that could must be level 100 to prevent Rare Candies from working (Magikarp can be obtained at level 100 by trading a level 100 Finneon).
