Pacifidlog is a small town with not much important to do. In the southeast house is the Mirage Island man. Talking to him can cause Mirage Island to appear if the conditions are right. Every seven days, he will give out one of two possible TMs, TM27 (Return) or TM21 (Frustration) depending on the friendship of the player's lead Pokémon.
