A few years ago, [[User:Eleking|Eleking]] was talking about an old legend that Bronzor might have been based off. It seems to be this: http://www.sacred-texts.com/shi/kwaidan/kwai07.htm - It explains the plant on the back (the Sho-Chiku-Bai relief that allowed the woman to recognize her mirror), it having Heatproof, and it evolving into a Bell.
