This is my two cents here, but from what me and a friend discussed a week or so ago, Xerneas is essentially Yggdrasil (Especially if you look at it's cocoon form), the Norse Tree. Yveltal is Ragnarok, a Norse Doomsday Event relating to Yggdrasil. Lastly, Zygarde is Nidhogg, one of the Wyrms that resides underneath Yggdrasil. Any opinions on this matter?
