Also known as Cycling Road, the path that connects Celadon City and Fuchsia City (Routes 16, 17, and 18) is a favorite hangout spot for bikersExcept for a few battles, it's a pretty easy ride down the slope to FuchsiaBefore you go, cut down the small tree near the Snorlax and walk through the gate to find a house on the other side; the girl inside will give you 02 to keep her hideaway a secret.  Teach that to something like Pidgeot or Fearow to visit any previous town in seconds flat.
The path that connects Celadon City to Fuchsia City—Routes 16, 17, and 18—is also known as Cycling Road, a favorite hangout spot for BikersAside from a few battles, the ride southward is pretty easy.  Bring your I, or you will not be allowed on the slope.

The sleeping Snorlax blocks any travel, so use the Poké Flute to wake it up.  There are only two Snorlax in the region, so if you don't catch this one, make sure to get the one south of Lavender Town.  All Trainers must have a Bicycle in their possession, or the guard won't let them on Cycling Road.

As for the roadblock, use the Poké Flute to rouse Snorlax from its nap.  It wakes up on a foul mood, and attacks!  There are only two in the whole region; the other blocks the way south of Lavender Town.  Catch it if you can!

The Fuchsia Gym is teeming with Poisons.  Psychic- and Ground moves will inflict double-damage, so plan accordingly.  The ninja master, Koga, has installed invisible walls in his Gym to hinder his challengers, so you will have to find the open paths between the walls to find the path to the Gym Leader.
The Fuchsia Gym is teeming with Poison Pokémon.  Psychic attacks are useful against the few Arbok, and Grass or Water moves can take out the few Sandslash.  As for the dozen or so Psychic-type Pokémon, only Bug moves like Twineedle or Pin Missile are super-effective against them, so you may need to rely on brute force to clear them out.  The ninja master has set up glass walls in his Gym to disorient his challengers, forcing you to find the open spaces between the walls to find the path to the Gym Leader.

The warden is troubled; it seems that he has lost his set of I somewhere in the Safari Zone.  For returning them, the warden is willing to give his HM as thanks.

Before entering the safari, stop in the house next door and talk to the Fishing Brothers inside to get the Fishing.  With this, you can finally reel in something other than Magikarp! A few aquatic species like Poliwag and Goldeen can be found in his backyard pond.
Six Gym Leaders down, two to go!  The Soul gives you the ability to surf across bodies of water, which will soon allow you to leave the Kanto mainland for the islands in the southwest.  It also gives a slight Defense boost during battle. Koga gives you 06 as a prize, a secret ninja technique that he claims is over 400 years old.

The Warden
The Warden is a little distraught about losing his set of I.  If you find them while hunting in the Safari Zone, be sure to return them to him to receive 04 as a reward!  Teaching this to a sturdy Pokémon like Rhydon or Tauros lets you move those big boulders around.  Try it out on the rock inside the Warden's home to reach the Vitamin behind it.

The Kanto is the city's main tourist attraction.  For pdollar500, each Trainer is given thirty Safaris and allowed to catch any Pokémon they find.  The drawback is that visitors are restricted from using their own Pokémon to weaken the wild Pokémon first.  Instead, you may throw either bait or rocks before attempting capture. Throwing bait makes a Pokémon less likely to run, but harder to catch; throwing a rock has the opposite effect.  When you run out of Safari Balls or walk 500 steps, the game is over.
* Throwing bait makes a Pokémon less likely to run, but harder to catch
* Throwing a rock makes a Pokémon more likely to run, but easier to catch
Try different combinations to see what works best.  There are many species roaming the park, and quite a few items to find, so expect at least one return trip.  When you run out of Safari Balls or walk 500 steps, the game is over.

In the final area, head directly south to find the warden's I.  Walk to the west to find 32, and enter the Secret House.  It seems that no one else has ventured this deep into the park yet, so you win the prize!  Teach Surf to something like Gyarados or Lapras to cross the pond south of the Secret House; otherwise, you'll have to backtrack and wander through some tall grass until the timer runs out, which probably won't be much longer.  Pick up the Potion and the Revive on the way east to the entrance.

With this new-found surfing ability, you can reach the island in the entrance area to find a Valuable item.
Entrance
Step inside the safari and head to the northeast to enter the second area, Area 1.

Area 1
There are four items scattered around the second area.  Pick up a Vitamin on the rock platform, 37 in the pond, a Potion to the northwest, and a Potion near the rest house.  Walk past the rest house and head west.

Area 2
Go all the way to the west, then head north through the tall grass and climb onto the rock platform.  From here, follow the sideways S-bend westward to reach the northern section.  Pass through two more patches of tall grass and pick up 40.  After looping past the rest house, grab the Vitamin and follow the path around to the southwest.

Back in the city, stop by the warden's house to return the Gold Teeth and claim your reward, 04.  Teaching this to a sturdy team member, like Rhydon or Tauros, lets you move those big boulders aroundTry it out now to raid the warden's Vitamin stash.
Area 3
In the final area, head south to find the Warden's I!  Walk to the west to find 32, and enter the Secret HouseIt seems that no one else has ventured this deep into the park, so the HM03 is yours.  Teach it to something like Gyarados or Lapras, and you can cross the pond to the southIf you do, you can find a Potion and a Revive on the way east to the park's entrance.  Otherwise, you can backtrack and wander through some tall grass until the timer runs out, which likely won't be much longer.

With Fuchsia City cleared, fly back to Lavender Town and head south to 12.
After exploring Fuchsia City, fly back to Lavender Town and head south to 12.
