While trying to acquire a Dream World Eevee, I've noticed that if after waking up a Pokemon, you tuck the same Pokemon back in, any befriended Pokemon still waiting for you at the Tree of Dreams seem to still be there, instead of resetting (which is what happens when you tuck in a different Pokemon).  This could be deliberate -- on my last Pokemon's dream there were nearly two full pages of Pokemon at the Tree of Dreams despite that I only befriended about four during the trip.  --Stratelier 17:00, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

:Pokémon stay at the Tree of Dreams until you befriend one, yes. After that they all go away. I think this remains even if you change Pokémon, but I can't remember if that is the case. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 11:40, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
