Nene: Difference between revisions

Nene is based on the real-life {{wp|Nene (aristocrat)|Nene}} of Japanese history. She is wife to [[Hideyoshi]]. Her other subordinates are also ninja: Chiyome ({{wp|Mochizuki Chiyome}}) was responsible for creating an all-female group of ninja; Sandayū ({{jwp|百地丹波|Momochi Sandayū}}) was an {{wp|Iga-ryū|Iga ninja}}; and Hatsume ({{jwp|初芽局|Hatsume no Tsubone}}) was a female ninja in [[Ieyasu]]'s service. [[Hanzō]] was also a Iga ninja in [[Ieyasu]]'s service, and Nene sided with Ieyasu after Hideyoshi's death, during a dispute of power between Ieyasu and Hideyoshi's son by Chacha, Hideyori ({{wp|Toyotomi Hideyori}}).
