==About Me==
Hello and welcome to my Bulbapedia user page! My name is Mitchell and I have been a fan of the [[Pokémon]] series since it's launch in the United States back in 1998. I started to really fall in love with Pokémon while I grew up watching the [[original series]] of the long running [[Pokémon anime]]. When I was 5, I received my first Pokémon game, that game being [[Pokémon Yellow]]. Since then, I have remained an avid and addicted fan. My next big game was [[Pokémon Sapphire]], which I ended up getting as an easter gift back in 2003. The following year, I remember being very excited for the much anticipated [[Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions]]. I coveted the pre-order brochure I got as a treasure. For some reason though, [[Pokémon Emerald]] didn't feel as exciting to me as [[Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire]]. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the game very much and have fond memories of the [[Hoenn Battle Frontier]]. [[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl]] in 2007 was no different, releasing near the end of my last year in Middle School. I counted down the days to April 22nd and I remember being in complete amazment when I first saw {{p|Dialga}} and {{p|Palkia}} on the official Pokémon website. I discovered [[Serebii]] in early 2008, and thanks to the site, my interest for the series has been fueled to be perhaps even stronger. The day in 2009 that [[Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver]] were announced, I remember being full of joy and looking extremely forward to having another adventure in [[Johto]] and [[Kanto]] with the fresh graphics of the [[Nintendo DS]]. On the day of release, I received 6 badges in that one day. I defeated the [[Indigo Plateau]] on the second day. That game holds the record for being my fastest playthrough of the main story in a Pokémon game. Every issue of [[CoroCoro]] felt like a gift from above. In 2010, I remember being ecstatic when I first saw {{p|Zoroark}}. Like many others, I knew that we would finally be getting a [[Generation V|new generation]]. Every issue of CoroCoro featuring [[Pokémon Black and White]] was amazing to me. With every [[Generation V]] Pokémon revealed, I fell more and more in love with the games. With [[Pokémon Black 2 and White 2]]'s international release around the corner, I feel like I haven't been this excited for a Pokémon game like this in ages. Not only am I looking forward to the [[Pokémon World Tournament]], I am also looking forward to the various changes and improvements that are to be brought to the [[Unova]] region. In [[Generation IV]], [[Pokémon Platinum]] was my favorite game of the [[Sinnoh]] trilogy, and these two games are no exception. I love all the [[generations]] of Pokémon equally and I believe that each generation has their own strengths and weaknesses that make them unique.
Back in the [[Generation III]] era, I acquired various [[Cheating|cheating devices]] to help aid me in the conquest of the games. However, this was mostly used to get infinite [[Rare Candy|Rare Candies]] and a complete [[National Pokédex]]. It is something, that looking back on, I am not proud of. Since [[Pokémon Diamond]] and onward, I have been a clean player. I vow to one day return to Generation III and complete the games fairly.
I am also a fan of the Super Mario series. My favorite character is {{wp|Yoshi}}. My first real game that I recall was {{wp|Mario Kart: Double Dash!!}} which was a gift along with my [[Nintendo Gamecube]] back in Christmas of 2003. My interest for the series picked up even further shortly afterward in February of 2004 when I visited my grandparents in Florida. My Grandfather had {{wp|Super Mario Sunshine}} on his Gamecube. He didn't play it much, so we were able to take it back with us. I still even to this day consider it my favorite Super Mario game. It is also perhaps because my Grandfather was a victim of cancer and died in 2005. It was one of the few things of his that I had in my possession. I have always coveted the game and still enjoy playing it over and over, it never gets old. Since 2004, I have been accumulating the various Mario games from the Mario side series installments to the main 3D adventure series. Not a single Mario game has gone undetected under my radar.

I am a huge fan of the Pokémon, Mario, and Avatar: The Last Airbender series. I have been with the Pokémon series since I was 5 years old. It all began when I started watching the amine. Then I started getting into the video games when I first got [[Pokémon Crystal]] when I was 8. Then I got [[Pokémon Yellow]], [[Pokémon Red|Red]], and [[Pokémon Blue|Blue]]. Yes I know, odd order. But I don't remember everything. I can picture [[Pokémon Sapphire]] vividly though. I remember it like it was yesterday. I got it as one of my presents for Easter, my first year in middle school. Then I followed up with [[Pokémon Ruby]]. After did all I could in both games, I waited anxiously for the release of [[Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen]]. Then [[Pokémon Emerald|Emerald]] soon came right around the corner and I quickly played through another exciting and expanded [[Hoenn]] adventure. I found some of it disappointing like how they removed [[Steven Stone|Steven]] as Champion and replaced [[Wallace]] with that crappy french guy [[Juan]]. But other than that, I was satisfied with the new storyline and blown away by the [[Battle Frontier (Hoenn)|Battle Frontier]]. With all 5 GBA games of [[Generation III]] in my possession, I played them all until I ran out of stuff to do. At the end of my last year in middle school, [[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions|Pokémon Diamond and Pearl]] were released. I was really excited about the new [[Generation IV|Fourth Generation of Pokémon]] and rushed to the store and bought Diamond the day it came out in America. Then an improved version of Diamond & Pearl, [[Pokémon Platinum Version|Pokémon Platinum]] was announced late in my freshmen year of high school and waited eagerly for it's release in America in March of my sophomore year in high school. Like Diamond,  I bought Platinum the day it was released. I got HeartGold the day it was released and am currently working on it, preparing my team for [[Red (game)|Red]]. I got SoulSilver for a very unexpected Easter Present and am currently holding off on it till later. I am in the process of trying to get all 493 Pokémon caught on the National Dex. I eagerly await the release of [[Generation V]]'s [[Pokémon Black and White]] in Japan and America.
** Captured a wild [[shiny Pokémon]] other than the [[Red Gyarados]].
** Raised a Pokémon to [[Level|Level 100]] (I remember {{p|Altaria}} being in the high 90's at one point).  
** Got legitimately lost. It took me 3 hours to find [[Sootopolis City]].
** Didn't use a [[legendary Pokémon]]. I traded {{p|Kyogre}} away to a friend.
** Have the longest record play [[time]]. I have accumulated 463:07 hours.  
* Since [[Pokémon Crystal]], I always have at least two main Pokémon on my team that know the moves [[Surf]] and [[Fly]].  
* I own every single system in the [[Nintendo DS]] family.
