I think that the reason that the girl isn't available in Red / Green / Blue / Yellow / Gold / Silver is because they didn't even come up with the idea until Crystal, which I think makes a lot more sense than saying that it was because it was too hard to progam (which I know it wasn't), that there wasn't enough space on the cartidge (which I know that there was), or just that the developers were to lazy to do so (which is unlikely). I think that we should probably change it to say something like "unknown female character". Some could speculate [[:File:Latias Blaziken.jpg|this character]] to be an early version of [[May]] (she also appeared in some [[:File:Latias Latios.png|promotional artwork]] for the game) but there's no evidence to support that as far as I'm aware. | :::Yeah.
