Wake leads the fight with Gyarados, who has Intimidate, so lead with Special-based attackers. It, like the rest of Wake's team, has his signature move, Brine. Brine does more damage if you have less than half of your HP left, so be wary and stay healthy. Waterfall will do the most damage, and it also has Bite and Twister, both having a chance of making you flinch. (INCOMPLETE)
Wake leads the fight with Gyarados, who has Intimidate, so lead with Special-based attackers. It, like most of Wake's team, has his signature move, Brine. Brine does more damage if you have less than half of your HP left, so be wary and stay healthy. Waterfall will do the most damage, and it also has Bite and Twister, both having a chance of making you flinch. Electric type attacks will quickly send it out for the count. Next up is Wake's Quagsire, which is his counter to Electric-types. Instead, Grass-type attacks are this Pokemon's nightmare. It has Rock Tomb to slow you down, as well as Water Pulse and Mud Shot as far as offense goes, and it does not have Brine. Yawn can be annoying, because the next turn after it uses it you will fall asleep, unless you switch. Chesto Berries can be useful in this situation. Last up is his star Pokemon, Floatzel. Floatzel is very fast, and can hit pretty hard, but its defenses are rather lousy. It has Ice Fang to counter Grass-types, as well as Aqua Jet, a Water-type Quick Attack. It too, is packing Brine, so stay healthy during the fight. Crunch is a strong Dark-type move that complements Floatzel's high Attack stat, so be wary. However, since it has rather lame Defense and especially Sp. Defense, one good Electric or Grass-type attack will send it out.
