Not all rules have corresponding clauses, so they can be added as additional info (see "Updates" section of Random Matchup.) For items, the only item they really ban all the time is Soul Dew. Gen III had Enigma Berry, but Gen IV didn't. One tournament had Leftovers banned. I think it would be best to link the clauses. Either to [[rule variants]] or [[Appendix:Metagame terminology]] sections, since people not overly familiar with competitive battling may not know what they mean.
