:Okay, I have trimmed down it again, and I will list my reasons here. There are just as many Sinnoh Pokémon only available via the Dream World or Poké Transfer as Hoenn ones; therefore, it is meaningless. Nobody mentions Lance, but someone does mention Cynthia; in fact, she appears there. Most likely, nobody mentions Lance because they haven't decided whether he will be Champion at this time. Currents also appeared in FRLG. There is a sandstorm area in Sinnoh too; sure, it is post-Elite Four, but that shouldn't mean anything. You can draw a tonne of parallels between Gym Leaders (7th Gym Ice anyone?), but none of them even come close to hinting a remake. No previous NPCs at all appeared in RS (both Gen I and II NPCs were absent); this is not the case in Black and White, and this is not what happened in DPPt. Yes, because not mentioning Team Aqua and Magma means that they can screw the storyline over and retcon it into another time period over 3 years later (presentably 3 years + the age of TR Grunt's son + 9 months). If they wanted to put Hoenn at the same time as Unova, they would have put Unova in Hoenn's time. Hoenn certainly isn't the only region with a Safari Ball, and they had no issue programming in capture animations for the Apricorn Balls and Sport Ball in HGSS. | |||
