I was aware of this policy. What I wasn't aware of was that previewing an edit before actually saving it fell under this same category. As of today I had decided to make my own userspace page. I had to preview what my changes were going to look like a whole lot because I had no idea how to make a userspace beyond simply typing text. I looked for a how-to page and couldn't find one, so I had to try and do it myself. I offer my apologies if this caused any distress and will try to limit my activity from here out.
