Isn't Lapras a Placodont, or at least partially inspired by one? Large prehistoric marine reptiles with shell-like back plates which look like... well, Lapras? (sure the long neck and some other features are separately inspired by plesiosaurs, but placodonts have the 'shell' and some of them had bony things on the skull like Lapras' 'horns'.)[[User:Icer|Icer]] 16:25, 16 April 2011 (UTC) | |||
