It was originally believed that this card was a reprint of the {{TCG ID|Neo Genesis|Moo-Moo Milk|101}} card first printed in the {{TCG|Neo Genesis}}, renamed "Moomoo Milk" to match the item's name in the video games. However, due to the difference in names and the Neo Genesis card removing 2 damage counters per heads while the HeartGold & SoulSilver card removing 3 damage counters per heads, it has been unofficially ruled that "Moo-Moo Milk" and "Moomoo Milk" are, in fact, different cards entirely. A similar situation exists surrounding {{TCG ID|Neo Genesis|Energy Charge|85}} and {{TCG ID|Expedition|Power Charge|147}}.
