Oh, so ''that'' was the guy who translated all the Pkmn moves before me! I've got to admit it; he has done a pretty good job. Now, as for your...seemingly reasonable concern, you may relax. Back when the games FireRed and LeafGreen were published in my country, they came with some sort of guide to the game, which was '''in Greek'''. The generation I,II,III abilities I translated derive from it. However, when it comes to generation IV..., well you get the picture. I did not translate any moves or abilities from gen. V.
