What's the big idea? I made a simple rephrasing of the original content, adding a few more details and a little "inside the world" point of view. The article of the Pokemon series is a very important one, basically introductory to what Pokemon is, and a common starting point of guests' reading. I don't get what you see wrong in the rephrasing, but would you please explain what you actually mind instead of treating me with a "what?". Furthermore, you can edit what you don't consider "encyclopedic language", instead of taking the easy way of merely reverting to the inferior previous version. Also, I need to make clear that I don't think I made a very significant improvement to the article, but I insist that the article has became more reader-friendly that way. I hope I don't sound unfriendly, but I'm honestly wondering about your choice, and I expect a dignified answer if I am to be convinced.
