:To my mind the wording is fairly weak so it's kind of a non-issue. Someone wrote the section in the first place therefore there is someone out there who doesn't believe or doubts that they are canon thus it should remain. Also we are not here to pass down rulings on truth unless there has been any official confirmation one way or another. So it should remain as it is, a neutral account of a fandom argument representing both sides equally allowing readers and fans to come to their own conclusions.
