How sure are you that the 'don' part of Gastrodon's name comes from the Spanish honorific? I feel like it's more likely that the name comes from Gastrodonta, a genus of land snails. The only reason that might not be the case is that Gastrodonta are land snails while Gastrodon is very obviously a water snail. --[[User:Mamthew42|Mamthew42]] 21:25, 15 July 2010 (UTC) |
