Friend Area

Scorched Plains (Japanese: 野原 Burnt Field) is a Friend Area in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and a rescue team camp in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX in the Volcano area. In Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, it has a capacity of 10 Pokémon. All the Pokémon that reside here are Fire-type.

If Cyndaquil or Torchic is the hero or partner Pokémon, the player starts the game with this Friend Area. Otherwise, it can be purchased from the Wigglytuff Club for 5,000 Poké after completing the main storyline.

Geography

Scorched Plains is a large, open, volcanic area with flaming rocks surrounding it. In Red and Blue Rescue Team, the overall shape is very similar to the Friend Area Wild Plains.
