Trivia

Bulbanews has an article related to this subject:

Following the release of the Black & White set, which controversially changed the game's first-turn rule to permit the use of Item and Supporter cards on the first turn of the game, this card was a major contributor to an unhealthy competitive format. This is due to its Overeager Poké-BODY enabling the player to consistently steal the first turn and win the game by using a combination of powerful Item cards, Uxie's Set Up, Crobat G's Flash Bite, and Seeker to clear the opponent's Bench and, if necessary, weaken their Active Pokémon to be Knocked Out by Sableye's Overconfident attack; all of this could happen without the opponent ever getting a turn in the match. Because of this, many players threatened to not attend the 2011 National and World Championships unless Play! Pokémon would change the format to eliminate the threat of Sableye; this resulted in the first pre-Worlds rotation in the game's history.
