In Japan, this card was released as one of the SM-P Promotional cards and was available as part of a Pokémon Center campaign that saw the release of merchandise featuring Eevee donned in ponchos resembling its various evolutions. Starting October 7, 2017 for as long as stocks lasted, customers at participating Pokémon Centers (including the Pokémon Center Online) and Pokémon Stores who purchased five booster packs in one transaction could select 1 of 8 Poncho-wearing Eevee promotional cards.

Origin
The Eevee in the illustration wears a poncho resembling its evolution Umbreon. The Confuse Ray? attack is a reference to Confuse Ray, a move in the Pokémon games and one Umbreon can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Sun.
