Pokémon Card Channel

Pokémon Card Channel (Japanese: ポケモンカードチャンネル Pokémon Card Channel; also known as ポケカチャンネル Pokéca Channel) is the official Japanese YouTube channel of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The channel account was created on September 23, 2016, but its official launch was on October 7 of the same year (October 2016 being the month of the Pokémon TCG's 20th anniversary), on which the channel's first video was uploaded.

The channel hosts a variety of Pokémon TCG-related content, such as reveals of expansions, cards, and merchandise; Pokémon TCG matches; deck building; tips, tricks, and suggestions on how to play; and other miscellaneous content such as minigames. The channel also hosts livestreams, including official livestreams of the Japanese Pokémon TCG Championships League. New videos are uploaded to the channel almost every day.

The channel's current opening and ending theme songs are Nijirald and Chan-Dan, respectively. Both theme songs were written and performed for the channel by the band Rhythmic Toy World.[1]

Other channels

On August 11, 2021, the official Traditional Chinese YouTube channel for the Pokémon TCG was established, known as (Traditional Chinese: 寶可夢集換式卡牌遊戲頻道 Pokémon Jíhuànshì Kǎpái Yóuxì Píndào; lit. "Pokémon Collectible Card Game Channel"). Its first video was uploaded on October 20, 2021 — the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon TCG. It is presented and managed separately from the Japanese YouTube channel, although the two channels occasionally create crossover content.
