This card was included in the Paldea Evolved expansion with artwork by OKACHEKE, first released in the Japanese Clay Burst expansion. It was later reprinted in the Japanese Lightning Miraidon ex Start Deck and as a Confetti Holofoil in the English McDonald's Collection 2023. In Japan, it was reprinted again as an SV-P Promotional card as part of a collaboration with the NAKANO STYLING TANTO line of hair products. Eight original "NAKANO STYLING TANTO × Pokémon Card Game" branded hair products were released on August 1, 2023; each purchase includes a promo pack which contains one of 8 possible pairs of Pokémon and Basic Energy cards. These cards feature the "NAKANO STYLING TANTO" logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.[1] A Mirage Holofoil version of this card, featuring a Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork, was available in the Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle from September 1, 2023.
In Japan, this card was reprinted, alongside a new print with artwork by Yuu Nishida featuring the Shiny version of Pikachu, as part of the Shiny Treasure ex subset. The Shiny Treasure ex print was included in the Paldean Fates expansion.
A Full art illustration rare print featuring artwork by saino misaki was included as a SVP Black Star Promotional card in the Paldea Adventure Chest, released on March 1, 2024.
