Release information

This card was released in the English Base Set, first originating from the Japanese Expansion Pack. Before the Base Set's official release, prototype Pokémon Leagues were given the Trainer Deck B, which included this card. This print has a red border and "Trainer Deck B" printed on the back. It was reprinted in the English Base Set 2 and Legendary Collection expansions.

Whirlwind and Mirror Move are both moves in the Pokémon games that Pidgeotto can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
