Terminology

English

In the Generation I games and their Generation III remakes, the English name was adapted as "Oak's Parcel", even though Oak's name is not present in the Japanese name.

In Generation IV, the English name was shortened to "Parcel" since the item was being delivered to Barry for the first time. However, the short English name "Parcel" remained even as the player was required to deliver this to Professor Oak again in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.

Japanese

The Japanese name of this item is the same in all games, regardless of the player delivering it to Professor Oak in the Kanto-based games or to Barry in the Sinnoh-based games.
