Initial EX Dragon prints of this card have the ID K-10-#. The Dot Code strip contains Pokédex information, a TCG glossary snippet, and a brief area summary for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

Pokédex entry
Numel stores magma of almost 2,200 degrees F within its body. If it gets wet, the magma cools and hardens. In that event, the Pokémon's body grows heavy and its movements become sluggish.

Release information

This card was included in the English EX Dragon expansion, first released in the Japanese Salamence Constructed Starter Deck. It was later reprinted in the Latias Half Deck of the English EX Trainer Kit, the EX Battle Stadium Deck Kit, and the Blaziken EX Master Trainer Deck. These prints lack the e-Reader Dot Code strip and feature a normal border following the cessation of TCG support for the e-Reader starting with the EX Hidden Legends expansion.

Trivia

The e-Reader area summary incorrectly refers to Jagged Pass as "Jagged Path".

Origin

Firebreathing is an attack that first appeared on Blaine's Magmar from Gym Heroes. Tackle is a move in the Pokémon games that Numel can learn. This card's e-Reader Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Sapphire.
