The Leadership Board is the authority on official policy and style used on Bulbapedia.
While Bulbapedia is indeed a community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia, every community needs leaders, and the senior staff at Bulbagarden feel that an official voice should exist to have a final say in issues and disputes, as well as in the appearance of Bulbapedia's content, allowing Bulbapedia to remain consistent and aesthetically pleasing.
The Leadership Board shall consist of the Bulbapedia Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, as well as a select number of members chosen by the Editor-in-Chief. Former members of the Leadership Board generally retain some staff privileges upon resignation; former Editors-in-Chief may be invited back in an advisory position.
If you need to contact a Leadership Board member, choose the administrator who you deem most suitable to answer your question. As most of the Board govern specific areas, this should not be too hard. However, do not forget that there are other staff members who are more than happy to field questions as well.

Individual positions
Other than the Editor-in-Chief and the Deputy Editor-in-Chief, each member of the Leadership Board holds a specific job, placing them in charge of certain areas of Bulbapedia.
Presently, each Leadership Board member heads a section of the site: one staff member each presiding over video games, anime, manga, and the Trading Card Game. There is also a staff member responsible for daily administration and coordination of Bulbagarden Archives. These board members are the spokespeople for their respective sections and are in charge of their section's policy and style decisions.
Authority
The Leadership Board, being the ultimate in Bulbapedia authority, has the ability to set official, binding policy. Statements from the Leadership Board as a whole and from members thereof are to be read as the law of Bulbapedia, unless contradicted by a higher power (in the case of individual members, by the Editor-in-Chief, and in the case of the Board itself, by Archaic).
Leadership Board members are allowed unlimited use of the userspace, where they may put test templates and other things relevant to Bulbapedia and the Pokémon series.
They also retain the following rights:
- Locking and unlocking of the Bulbapedia database for maintenance
- The ability to change all user rights on all Bulbagarden wikis
- The ability to rename users on individual wikis and in the central database
Activities
The Leadership Board conducts discussions on matters of style, policy, and position of Bulbapedia in the Bulbapedia Administration forum on the Bulbagarden Forums, while some discussions may also be held in the main Bulbawiki Discussion forum, shared with Bulbagarden Archives and Bulbanews.
From time to time, the Leadership Board may call for volunteers from among Bulbapedia's editors to become Junior Administrators, allowing them greater editing power on the wiki, such as the ability to edit protected pages.
