Release information

This card was given away in select cinemas when buying a ticket to the theatrical release of Guardian Gods of the City of Water: Latias and Latios.

Trivia

  • The card text on the top right of the card border reads: "Pikachu the Movie 5th Anniversary theater limited Shining! Pokémon jumbo card". The 5th Anniversary Pikachu the Movie logo is also in the bottom left corner of the card.
  • This card has a Reverse Holofoil treatment reminiscent of the later released Mirror Holofoil cards between HeartGold & SoulSilver Collection and Clash at the Summit.

Origin

This card is based on the Latios and Latias that appeared in Pokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias. The Pokémon in circles in the illustration that are mentioned in the attack text and additional text are the Celebi, Entei, Lugia, and Mewtwo that starred in the previous four movies. Images of these Pokémon are hidden in certain scenes in the movie.
