Release information

This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Dragons Exalted expansion, first released in the Japanese Dragon Blast expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Eske Yoshinob, while the Full Art print features artwork by 5ban Graphics. The Full Art print was reprinted as one of the Japanese BW-P Promotional cards with different artwork by 5ban Graphics and was awarded to winners of the 'Super Rare Card Set Get!' campaign. Those who bought a combination of four BW5 products at participating stores could enter into a drawing to win one of 1,000 copies of Giratina-EX and Rayquaza-EX.

This card features Giratina in its Altered Forme. Shred is an attack that first appeared on Salamence from Dragon Vault. Dragon Pulse is a move in the Pokémon games that Giratina can learn via TM59 in Generation IV, via Move Tutor in Pokémon Black 2, White 2, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and via leveling-up in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
