Pokémon world locations

Faldera Island (Japanese: ファルデラじま Faldera Island) is a location in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

It is an island located in southeast Oblivia, and it is the home of the legendary bird Moltres. Its prominent feature is the Faldera Volcano (Japanese: ファルデラかざん Faldera Volcano).

Faldera Volcano

When first attempting to enter the volcano, the player must capture a Torchic and Phanpy from the Pokémon Pinchers. As the player continues to explore the volcano they will have to defeat the Pokémon Pinchers numerous times and clear many obstacles. Once they have reached the door to the summit, the player must enter Entei's Ranger Sign. Upon doing so the Pokémon Pinchers will be seen attempting to gain control of Moltres, which then flies off. Red Eyes along with the rest of the Pokémon Pinchers flee by air and the player gives chase.

After completing the game and accepting a mission from Rand, players must chase down the three legendary birds through the sky. Upon catching up with Moltres, it will go down to its home on top of the mountain. There, players must battle it to gain a part of the golden armor. Upon victory players will obtain the Ranger Sign to summon Moltres. Using this Ranger Sign at the summit of Faldera Volcano will allow players to once again fight the Legendary Pokémon. There is an Abomasnow lithograph covering up a cave on the volcano. The player can break the lithograph and gain access to the cave by beating the Ice Temple leader's Abomasnow in a past mission.
