The international tournament "2007 Pokémon Trading Card Game World Championships" was held at a hotel in Hawaii to determine the world's best Pokémon TCG player. More than 900 participants from a total of 28 countries competed in the tournament. Commonly known as the WCS, this tournament series started in 2004. There are junior, senior, and master divisions separated by age.
