Release information

This card was released as both a regular-sized and Jumbo-sized promotional card in the Charizard-EX Box released on May 7, 2014. In Japan, this card was included as an insert with the March 2014 issue of CoroCoro comic, released on February 15, 2014. It has the CoroCoro dragon mascot watermark behind the attack text.

Trivia

The English version of this card is one of few Pokémon-EX cards to be printed with a matte finish rather than the glossy finish typical of Pokémon-EX cards.
