Burmy (Japanese: ミノムッチ Minomutchi) is a Grass-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Secret Wonders expansion.

Release information

This card was included in the Secret Wonders expansion with artwork by Kouki Saitou, first released in the Japanese Shining Darkness expansion. In Japan, it was also released in the Dialga LV.X Constructed Standard Deck with different artwork by the same artist. A Cosmos Holofoil DP-P promotional reprint of the Shining Darkness print was released in Japan as part of the DP Card Exchange campaign in November 2007. The Dialga LV.X Deck print was later reprinted in English in POP Series 7. A promotional version of the Secret Wonders print with a gold foil snowflake stamp was one of 24 cards released in the Pokémon Countdown Calendar in October 2008.

Trivia

The "Plant Cloak" part of Burmy's name is a sub-categorization in order that this card can only evolve into its respective Wormadam form. However, if it evolves into Mothim, this sub-categorization does not apply.
