Is it really known as wikicode though? I thought it was generally referred to as wiki markup or wiki syntax...

PS: Just code the section heading example manually. It's just wrapped in <h2><span class="mw-headline">. TheChrisD RantsEdits 18:02, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

I've always called it and known of it as wikicode, which is why I titled the page as such :D
Thanks for the headline code. Know a way to make it not show up in the TOC? —darklordtrom 07:59, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
I think that would involve editing one of the site-wide css files or fiddling with MediaWiki itself or something. I couldn't find any magic words in the MediaWiki help wiki which would do that. You could always fake it. For example:

Section heading

Section heading

Section heading
Not identical, but it's close. I doubt many people would notice the difference if they weren't side-by-side. And you could probably make them even more similar with a little more fiddling. Also, note that the first two methods both show up in the TOC if it is forced on this page. Werdnae (talk) 09:16, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
The ol' number eight wire. Good thinking. —darklordtrom 09:28, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
You could even make it perfectly identical if you jury rigged the vertical line to be <hr style="margin-top: 0;" /> :P TheChrisD RantsEdits 09:44, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
That's just what it needed. I've changed it on the page. Thanks. Werdnae (talk) 10:01, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Roundy table?

What does a roundy table look like, and what is it for? I am a talking Scrafty! You can talk to me, and I can reply! 21:24, 30 July 2011 (UTC)

If you are using any non-Internet Explorer browser, the roundiness of the templates will show up. --CoolPikachu! 21:42, 30 July 2011 (UTC)

Addition?

Could someone with the right to edit it explain about this

{{tt|text|more text}}

thing please? I had to work it out through non saved preview tests and looking at the wikicode of a lot of pages. Thanks Epsilonexus 20:53, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

Good idea. Done. —darklordtrom 02:32, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
Hey. Tha's what users are for. Improve the Bulbapedia and whe n you've got an idea but your not allowed to edit, get someone else to. I don't care if I'm only 30 hours old. I'm going to pull my weight and make Bulbapedia a nice place to be. One part is making newbies life easier. Thanks for helping me with that trom Epsilonexus 21:15, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

I discovered something

If you want to link to a mainspace page which has a title starting with a slash (/), be sure to place a colon (:) before the title in the link, or it will be wrongly recognized as a link to a subpage. --Bfdifan2006 (T/C) 10:39, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
