Blade-and-Shield Path (Japanese: けんとたてのみち Blade-and-Shield Path) is the second zone in Pokémon Battle Trozei. Access to this zone is available once the player completes Stage 4 of Renegade Meadow.

In all stages, Pokémon appear in the center above columns 3 and 4 unless otherwise noted.

Stage 1

The Pokémon appearing on the board are Aron, Dratini, Gastly, Meowth, and Raticate. None of these are super effective against Bulbasaur, meaning it's impossible to 100% the stage without support.

The Pokémon appearing on the board are Gastly, Koffing, Magnemite, Raticate, and Slowpoke. As before, none are super effective against Charmander, making it necessary to bring support to 100% the stage.

The Pokémon appearing on the board are Caterpie, Pidgey, Sandshrew, Slowpoke, and Umbreon. As with Stage 1 and Stage 2, none are super effective against Squirtle, making it necessary to bring support to 100% the stage.

Stage 5

This stage appears after the following conditions are met:

  • Capture Ivysaur in Zone 2, Stage 1
  • Capture Charmeleon in Zone 2, Stage 2
  • Capture Wartortle in Zone 2, Stage 3

This is the first stage where an opposing Pokémon occupies a three square area, covering columns 3 through 5 in all cases. This can be seen in advance where only two rows of preview Pokémon are visible.

The Pokémon on the board are Bulbasaur, Charmander, Elekid, Meowth, and Squirtle. All three fully evolved first partner Pokémon in this stage can be attacked with a super-effective attack without the need for additional support.

Stage 6

This stage appears after the player obtains an A-rank or S-rank on each of stages 1-4 in Zone 2.
