 The meteor shower begins, everyone makes their wishes: Ash wishes that he meets lots of strong Trainers, Serena wishes that she wins her third Princess Key, and Bonnie wishes that she can become a Trainer soon, and also that Clemont can find a wife soon, much to Clemont's embarrassment. Clemont can't decide what to wish for, and simply wishes that everyone else's wishes will come true.
-Before everyone goes to sleep, Clemont announces that he has made an alarm clock that is guaranteed to wake everyone up in the morning, so they can head out early. While everyone is sleeping, Dedenne rolls over and knocks Squishy out of Bonnie's purse. Squishy goes off on its own and finds a nearby tree to sleep in. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is sleeping up against a tree. Meowth can't sleep due to Jesse and James's snoring, so he puts earplugs in his ears and counts Mareep in order to fall asleep. Darkrai comes and puts Meowth and Pikachu into Squishy's dream. In the dream, Pikachu wakes up to go get some water. He finds a river and starts drinking from it. He is greeted by a Froakie, a Diggersby, and a Delphox. They can all speak somehow and startle Pikachu. Delphox wonders why Pikachu is freaking out, because to them talking is pretty normal. She then suggests the reason for Pikachu's reaction is because he's still half asleep, and Diggersby prepares to knock Pikachu awake with one of his ears. Before he can do that, however, Pikachu panics and runs away. Meowth wakes up and goes to get water as well, and sees the talking Pokemon. He immediately freaks out and goes back to alert Jesse and James. tries to wake up Jessie and James. Jessie and James speak as if the are their Wobbuffet and Inkay respectively.  Pikachu and Meowth run into each other. Squishy also appears and begins to talk to Pikachu and Meowth. Then a fire monster (possibly symbolizing Team Flare) appears and tries to harm Squishy. Squishy, riding on Pikachu, manage to escape with Meowth. Once they are safe, Squishy tells them to take him to Terminus Cave. On the way, the past a clearing that has been destroyed by the monster. Squishy uses his to powers to replenish the fields. They continue towards Terminus Cave. They are then stopped by the fire monster. Squishy orders Meowth and Pikachu to fight. The monster attacks and easily causes Pikachu and Meowth to retreat. Delphox, Diggersby, and Froakie all appear and try to attack the monster. The fire monster easily defeats the trio. Chespin and Pancham arrive at the battle. They spontaneously evolve into Chesnaught and Pangoro respectively. Before the battle, a loud sound is heard. Clemont's alarm clock awakens Pikachu, Ash and his companions. Ash notices Darkrai. Clemont remarks that Darkrai made Pikachu enters Squishy's dream. The adventurers proceed on their journey to Snowbelle City.

Meowth freaks out as well and runs away while Jesse and James chase him. He manages to lose them by hiding in some tall grass.

Once they are safe, Squishy thanks them and then tells them to take him to Terminus Cave, his home. Pikachu and Meowth ask why, and Squishy tells them to touch him. They do so, and Squishy transforms into Zyragade Complete Forme. Meowth and Pikachu freak out, and both wake up from the dream.

Pikachu runs away, and Clemont suggests that Pikachu went to go look for Squishy, and everyone agrees to do the same. Meanwhile, Meowth freaks out as well, and James asks why. Jesse asks if Meowth had a bad dream, and Meowth explains what happened in the dream. Jesse suggests that Meowth should relax, since it was a dream, and Meowth says that the 'dream' felt real. Meowth also runs away to look for Squishy. Pikachu run into each other once again, and they are transported back to the dream.
