By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

User space

Before anyone decides to post, I am fully aware of the rules and there is no need to inform me. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 13:08, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

Move Linking

When linking to Pokémon move pages can you use the {{m|move}} template and not the standard brackets. Have a good day. 23:30, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, I've just figured that out. I'm just getting used to all of these templates. Also, I thought I'd just let you know that you've included one to many tildes and your username has not shown up. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 23:32, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
Darn! I feel noobish now XD. --Pokemaster97 23:34, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

Tranquil

So what if it can be said for his other pokemon, that is it's personality so who cares if it is the same as some of his others. Its a personality section it doesn't have to be original. Plus all of Ash's pokemon (at least in Unova) have a personality section and Hatooboo deserves one too. Yes plapitoad and roggenrola don't but they have only been around for a short amount of time. You could of just edited it you know.RBK 07:17, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

For a start, that is "its" personality, "It's" a personality section, its "Palpitoad", and I could "have" edited it. However, I chose not to because the personality you described was atrociously laid out, it was not so much a personality description as it was a short list of events in its time on the show. I can't edit it because I've not seen it myself. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 07:24, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Oh so what do you mean you didn't even read it? You go around deleting things because they are badly laid out? Then edit them to make it flow better don't just delete it. That's rude and unless what i was saying was totally false and non of that stuff happened, you have no right to delete it.RBK 07:30, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

I did read it and hence my comment "it applies to every one of his Pokemon". Reinsert it if you will, but please ensure that you spell the words correctly. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 08:58, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Request?

You've been uploading pretty good images, so I'd like to make you a request: could you upload an image Hiker's Rhyhorn in the anime? --FinnishPokéFan92 14:07, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

What episode? Toon Ganondorf (t c) 22:26, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

0|1=

I think that standard makes no sense at all. The reason there are two is because I've been changing them to 0= whenever I edit the move sections. What that method does is it makes the first image twice as likely to appear than any other image. It makes no sense to do it that way. Somehow it came into usage, but I really have no idea how. --SnorlaxMonster 02:37, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

Clearly I still don't know how the template works. So you think all of them should be 0=? Toon Ganondorf (t c) 02:38, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Yeah. To explain exactly why, Modulo (shortened to "Mod" in the coding) divides the time (listed before Mod) by a number (which is the number listed after it) and outputs the remainder. This means that we get an integer between 0 and one less than the number it was divided by, all with equal probability. The switch then takes this number and picks one of several images. So if a move box has {{#switch: {{#expr: {{#time: U}} mod 2}}|0=Dig|1=Mach Punch}} half of the time it mill be Dig and half of the time it will be Mach Punch, because it divides the number of seconds since January 1 1970 00:00:00 GMT by two and takes the remainder. With {{#switch: {{#expr: {{#time: U}} mod 3}}|0|1=Dig|2=Mach Punch}} it divides that number by three, and if the remainder is 0 or 1, it will be Dig, and will only be Mach Punch if it is 2. The difference in probability does decrease as the number of images increases, but it doesn't really make sense to do it that way. --SnorlaxMonster 04:19, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Wish someone had explained this to me earlier. Ok I've fixed those than needed fixing and undone the rest. However, I'll go over the others and change them all to 0= later on. Thanks. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 04:43, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

Re: Re: Rhyhorn

I was talking about the Hiker Ash once battled, but it's okay, that image has already been uploaded. --FinnishPokéFan92 12:22, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Re: Plagiarising my Harrison's Sneasel article

Whoa whoa whoa! Easy there! I never intended to steal your article, and I have clearly marked there that you have the same article as well, so I'm not taking all the credit myself. And besides, I didn't copy the text from your article, only from Harrison's page. --FinnishPokéFan92 13:19, 9 November 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, but I still doesn't like that something that I put here is just taken away. Never mind... --FinnishPokéFan92 15:05, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Hello

Hello, would it be possible for you to come on aim? ♫♪ エイディニズ ♪♫ 04:20, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Undoing my work

If you have a problem with my revisions to the Prototype Pokémon page, you can discuss them with me rather than childishly undoing everything without so much as an explanation. This is highly unprofessional conduct on your part. -Unown Lord 08:02, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

The revert was a mistake due to misinterpretation of something said off-site. Unown Lord, your conduct in return is also very unprofessional: Your revert was also done with no reason, and you really should not be calling people childish. Practice what you preach, please. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 08:16, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
Very sorry about that Unown, was a misunderstanding combined with seeing a vast amount of text removed. Please excuse me. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 08:22, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks Kogoro haha. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 08:23, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
I don't know what was said off-site, and I assume that vandalism might be involved, but I accept the apology. But to Kogoro, I absolutely don't think that I was being unprofessional by not twiddling my thumbs when I knew that there was no justification for the revert. I might have been a little harsh, but if you think 'childish' is an insult, then you may be too sensitive. -Unown Lord 08:29, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
